FCA MultiAir Engine Technology

MultiAir is a variable valve timing system that provides direct control of air coming into the engine. With MultiAir technology, the intake valve can open a little late or a lot late, close a little early or a lot early, or any combination of these. Or it can follow the full cam profile, whatever the load on the engine requires. The result is more power, fewer emissions and better fuel economy.

The all-new Tahoe has a latest technology 5.3L V8, new exterior and new interior. The new Tahoe is much faster, more fuel efficient, has better handling, and has even more front seat room and rear cargo volume. The all-new Tahoe comes in three versions: the police-package, pursuit-rated Tahoe PPV in 2WD; the police-package, pursuit-rated Tahoe PPV in 4WD; and the special-service package Tahoe 5W4.
