Moving PSAP Operations to the Cloud

Durham, N.C. has become the first PSAP to test text-to-911 technology with Verizon Wireless and a 911 services provider. Intrado emphasizes that PSAPs who haven’t started the migration to NextGen 9-1-1 should actually consider it as a migration. The process does not have to be accomplished in one single, monumental project.

California’s wireless / VoIP deployments
