PIT and Push Bumpers

Push bumpers are installed on police vehicles for a wide variety of reasons. They can be used to safely push a disabled vehicle, to end a pursuit, to protect the front fascia in minor traffic accidents, and to serve as a mounting platform for emergency warning equipment. Here are some of the better examples—with a focus on PIT bumpers.

Lund PASS Push Bumper & Siren

The Lund PASS uses a proprietary tall and narrow speaker horn that produces a flat plane sound wave like a radar signal. The PASS is many times louder than a standard siren.
