Silverado 2500 Bi-fuel CNG Truck

The Silverado 2500 CNG is a Tier One-modified, CNG-gasoline, bi-fuel pickup. The Silverado 2500 CNG meets all of the “green” initiatives, yet the lower operating costs from the use of CNG fuel pay for the CNG option in half a normal service life. This bi-fuel truck has gasoline-like performance with a tow/haul capacity between a ½-ton and a ¾-ton pickup.

Raleigh Goes Green with Propane

With propane autogas, each bi-fuel vehicle displaces more than 40,000 gallons of gasoline each year. At times, the department has used as few as just eight gallons of gasoline every couple of weeks. Additionally, light-duty vehicles running on propane autogas emit 13 percent fewer annual lifecycle greenhouse gas emissions than gasoline, and the converted Crown Victoria vehicles meet current EPA certification standards.
