Charger Tech Training…the 3.5L SOHC V-6

The Charger’s 3.5L V-6 is a single overhead cam (SOHC) engine, like the 4.6L V-8 used in the Ford CVPI. Chrysler has a separate two-day technician training course specifically for its cam-in-head (OHC) engines. This course is geared for techs already familiar with basic engine repair procedures and covers just the unique aspects of their overhead cam engines.

Charger Tech Training…the 5.7L HEMI® V-8

Chrysler offers a tech training course for the 5.7L V-8. This course is geared to the tech already familiar with basic upper and lower engine repairs. The course only covers the unique features of the 5.7L engine. However, all techs should be able to perform basic PM on the HEMI.

Charger Tech Training: The Two-Day Basic Course

The no charge, in-house Dodge Charger Technician Training is available at host police and sheriffs departments running larger fleets of Chargers. The course works for all fleet personnel from the fleet manager to the maintenance and repair technician. The tech training covers the V6 and V8 Charger, and the RAM / Durango SSV…and now the All-Wheel Drive Charger.
