Additions such as IP (Internet Protocol)-based communications, shared infrastructure, increased flexibility / redundancy, and seamless voice, data and video communications are on the horizon, ready to lead the way to better planning and development of the “Next Generation of 9-1-1 (NG 9-1-1).
