Latest Blades from SOG

SOG makes a huge variety of tactical folders, fixed blades and multi-tools. Depending on the knife in question, SOG uses the best blade alloys, like VG-10; the best lock designs, like the Arc-Lock™; and the best one-hand opening methods, like SOG Assisted Technology™. We selected a few of the police-oriented knives recently introduced by SOG. This included the Flash Rescue, SOG-TAC and Vulcan tactical folders and the Vulcan Fixed Blade and SOG Ops fixed blades. The folders were a mix of manual, assisted and automatic opening.

Taking its name from an elite Special Forces military group from the Vietnam era—the Studies and Observation Group—SOG was founded in 1986 by designer and toolmaker Spencer Frazer. SOG makes a huge variety of tactical folders, fixed blades and multi-tools. Depending on the knife in question, SOG uses the best blade alloys, like VG-10; the best lock designs, like the Arc-Lock™; and the best one-hand opening methods, like SOG Assisted Technology™. New for 2013, is a SOG-Jason Brous collaboration, the Growl fixed blade.
