Ford's Next Police Engine EcoBoost

Ford’s EcoBoost family of Gasoline Turbocharged Direct Injection (GTDI) 4-cylinder and 6-cylinder engines get 20 percent better fuel economy than larger engines but with the same horsepower. By 2013, more than 90 percent of Ford’s North America product lineup will be available with some version of the GTDI EcoBoost I4 or V6 engine.
