bluePRINT Tour Stops at Adamson Industries

After months of planning between the marketing and sales teams at SoundOff Signal and Adamson Industries, the day had finally arrived. Under perfect New England skies, the outdoor bluePRINT™ event involved more than 100 guests from 69 different public safety agencies on the grounds of Adamson Industries. These fleet management professionals were here to learn about the latest in technology for police vehicles.

Guests of Adamson Industries chose to be part of a smarter, safer and more confident tomorrow by learning about the bluePRINT Control System. In addition to networking with other agencies, enjoying a fabulous lunch, and a chance to win a complete bluePRINT system, each agency that attended received a free pair of nFORCE® deck/grille mount lights.

The SoundOff Signal bluePRINT is a huge leap in emergency vehicle accessory control. Using a variety of inputs from the police vehicle, bluePRINT has entered the problem-solving world of fleet and risk management. The bluePRINT control system offers 1) improved officer safety; 2) reduced officer-involved accidents; 3) improved officer efficiency during emergency runs; and 4) remote diagnostics and upgrade capabilities.

Simply put, the bluePRINT Control System from SoundOff Signal automates emergency lighting and siren performance functions. The lighting and siren become programmable and automated by a multiplexed data bus.

The bluePRINT provides a safer and more efficient working environment that allows the officer to stay focused while keeping his/her eyes on the road. The system helps reduce distractions, improve intersection safety, improve visibility after dark, and diminish nighttime vulnerability, plus much more.

The SoundOff Signal marketing duo of Keith McRobert and Lynda Rausch kicked off the event with an informative PowerPoint presentation and a descriptive video that captured the audience’s attention. The hands-on demo immediately followed as the group moved to the three demo vehicles featuring bluePRINT.

The center of attention for demo vehicles was a Ford Interceptor Utility from Epping, N.H. Police, the first bluePRINT system in New England. Installation was performed in just two days by Adamson Industries lead bluePRINT Certified Technician, Brian Lanteigne. Epping PD Officer Steve Soares was amazed with the cruise mode when it is pitch-black out. “It looks sinister,” he said.

As the event came to an end, guests were impressed at the technology offered for today’s cruisers. Fleet managers who just want to keep it simple were rethinking their cruiser’s equipment and how they can contribute to keeping their fellow officers safe, reduce installation time, and wiring complexity.
