Department Name:

Columbia Police Department

Department Head:
Chief Ken Burton

Location:
Columbia, MO

Description:
This design models the design our on our patrol fleet. The white reflective letter with black shadowing makes the marking stand out, especially at night. The lettering is reflective as the vehicles are mainly used during the night time our to patrol our downtown. This style was chosen to match the current patrol fleet and in coordination with the green vehicle itself. The design was created by members of our Downtown Unit. The vehicles and design are a part of our community policing model and is clean. We did not want to overload the vehicles appearance, so we went with the basic, yet professional look. The open vehicles and easy of operation make them a good fit for the downtown.
