Department Name:

El Mirage Police Department

Department Head:
Chief Steve Campbell

Location:
El Mirage, AZ

Description:
In January 2013, the El Mirage Police Department began construction on a brand new, state of the art, police facility. In planning for this transition, the department began a new branding campaign, part of which included a new look for patrol vehicles. The Ford Utility Patrol Vehicle was chosen for its’ contemporary appearance and cost efficiency. The department chose a traditional black and white color scheme, however the color blocking on the vehicle provides for a unique and contemporary look. Graphics on the vehicle utilize reflective materials to maintain the highest level of visibility. The City of El Mirage logo was also added to the vehicle in an effort to provide a uniform branding effort across city departments. Because patrol vehicles are often the first visual citizens see of the department, it is extremely important that our vehicles reflect a professional, contemporary, and technologically advanced department that is responsive to the needs of our community, and we feel we have achieved this goal.
