Department Name:

Oshkosh Police Department

Department Head:
Chief Scott D. Greuel

Location:
Oshkosh , WI

Description:
This is our Crime Prevention Vehicle. It is a Ford Expedition that was used as our Shift Supervisors Vehicle until it was replaced. We converted it to be used by our Crime Prevention Officer as game it a "make-over". This was an all white vehicle, so we wrapped in in black and white so that it matched out patrol fleet. We added a very nice looking McGruff the Crime Dog to it to give it the Crime Prevention look. This is used to go to schools and teach children about many safety topics. We also use this vehicle for neighborhood watch duties and figure with McGruff watching, crime will be at a stand still!
