Department Name:

University Of Tennessee Police Department

Department Head:
Chief Troy Lane

Location:
Knoxville, TN

Description:
The University of Tennessee Police Department recently redesigned our vehicle graphics. The new design has a dual purpose. The orange stripe along with the white vehicle represents our school colors which are distinctly different from other area law enforcement agencies and immediately associates our officers with the University of Tennessee. The door seal displays a badge circled by the core values we expect from all of staff. We are very proud of the professional standards we have demonstrated in obtaining both CALEA and IACLEA accreditation so seals from both of those organizations are also displayed. The rear decals provide direct contact information to our department by either telephone or our department’s webpage.
