Department Name:

Bluefield Police Department

Department Head:
Chief H.L. Cundiff

Location:
Bluefield, VA

Description:
Our vehicle graphics were designed by the late Sergeant J.H. Altizer. The Town of Bluefield Virginia borders the City of Bluefield WV; we required a design that would immediately identify our vehicles from our Bluefield WV counterparts. The large blue stripe and badge on the side of the vehicle is highly reflective at night, the police decal on the rear and the BVPD on the hood are also reflective. The design looked great on the Crown Victoria, but with the departments transition to the new Ford Police Interceptor the graphics flow right with the bold lines of the vehicle making them look even better. The red BVPD on the rear doors spell out our ethics: Bravery, Valor, Pride, and Dedication
