Albuquerque Police Department

Department Head:
Ray Schultz

Location:
Albuquerque, NM

Description:
Well, what makes this scheme look unique is that Albuquerque Police have used red, white and blue for the past 20 years. Since Ford discontinued the Crown Victoria, Albuquerque Police thought it was time for a change. APD chose the dodge chargers for the new scheme. They had 2 other schemes that they wanted to use, and they let the voters of Albuquerque decide the design. As you can see they chose the design pictured below. The first Dodge Charger with the new official scheme was put into service June of 2012. With this new scheme APD is more than ever "In Step With Our Community"!
