The design was chosen for a combination of things: Police blue, department colors, and what stood out more on a black car, white car, or a silver car.
Colors: Police blue and Department colors
with reflective labeling all around the vehicle.
The reflective labeling was used so that the car could be identified as a patrol car from any distance.
Involved: Chief and patrol officers
Unique: expresses what we think a patrol car should look and reflect on the department.
Ties: It gains the attention of the community and surrounding communities for police relations and employment.
Significance: It has the new patch design and also the police blue which stands out from any view.
