Department Name:

Richmond Police Department

Department Head:
Chief Dave Teske

Location:
Richmond, MI

Description:
This design is a completely new concept for the City Police Department. The colors represent the City's High School colors (dark blue & white) and the clock logo is the City of Richmond's theme slogan..."With Time For You". When I became Chief of Police I sat down with every officer of the Department and discussed where we were at and where we wanted to be headed with respect to personnel, equipment, training, etc. Surprisingly, the one central theme that everyone of them in that conversation brought up and wanted to change was the old cars colors. It is remarkable how something as seemingly minor as a patrol cars color/markings can affect morale and boost the pride of in the Department as much as this did !!!
