Description:
Lee, this is what I came up with for revamping???. Hope it helps. In 2012, Ford discontinued the Crown Victoria model that the Goffstown Police utilized for the better part of the last three decades. Ford introduced the new Interceptor body style specifically designed police use and this presented the perfect opportunity to bring our cruisers to a new era with a modern sleek design and community friendly look. It also allowed us to use additional reflective material from what we used before and allowed us to bring back some of the old to color design and blend with the new. The blue stripe encompassed in the design is from the color scheme which was utilized by our agency from 15 years ago, which included a two tone blue design for both the police cruisers and the patrol uniform. The current design was created by one of our local business???s who have been involved in striping our police vehicles for years. Tom Sousa of Sousa Signs was excited about the opportunity to assist with the change. He said this is something he???s wanted to do for awhile. Goffstown Police Chief Sullivan came up with the shape of the design to start with and Tom fine tuned it to its final accepted design. In addition, the change was good for departmental moral and the agency has had a lot of positive feedback from the community.
