Correct me if I am wrong, they announced at FedFleet conference in Arizona that the new Ford Police Interceptor is not E85 capable. This is for the agencies that use alternative fuel credits for the federal compliance.

Forgive me for taking so long to reply, but my email address changed and I had to re-register.

The information that was distributed at PFE West indicated the smaller ( Smaller = 325 hp!) V6 is E85 capable in both FWD and AWD configuration.  No indication that the Ecoboost twin turbo engine is E85 capable.

I may be wrong, but at the PFE in St Louis I believe they said the PI would not be available in the AWD E-85 configuration. Only the smaller engine will be available E-85 and only in FWD.

The 3.5l ti-VCT V6 FFV is listed as avaliable in FWD/AWD in Police Interceptor Portfolio brochure I just recieved from Ford.

At St.Louis they did kinda make it sound like that and they never cleared it up. There will be basiclly three options to the drivetrain. Base V6 front wheel drive, base V6 all wheel drive and EcoBoost all wheel drive.
