We are starting to see the brake lines being worn thru on the 2003, 2005, and 2006 FLHPI series.  The lines are directly behind the headlamp pushed against the frame.  The part number listed above is hard to get since the vendor who makes it for Harley is delayed in production of the lines. Anyone else have this issue?

Would it be an option to go with a braided AN line? Maybe not the most cost effective choice, but still may be an option. Another choice for a replacement part would be J&P Cycles, they are online as well as a catolog store.

Do you want it right.... or right now.

Why pay for something up front when the factory installed and routed the lines in a way which will cause a hazardous condition during normal use. Engineering has to relook at the lines and find a better route.
