Just got a change to install these in a vehicle instead of our usual strobes. When I asked why, my sales rep (who doubles as
the shop stock guy) informed me that Whelen currently has these on sale at half price. They work fine as strobes; maybe
just a little bit less bright than our usual. So the customer jumped at the chance to get these at half price.
We install them in headlight and taillight assemblies to function as strobe lights. They are a relative easy install.
My guy usually sells these for $120.00 per light. He's recently been selling them to his local customers for around $60.00.
If your distributor is still pricing them to you for the normal price or just a tad less; barter him down. I know money is
very tight out there now, so don't overpay.
