| I have been tasked with researching hybrid vehicles for patrol use. I have only found a few agencies across the country that are using them for patrol. There are many agencies using them as administrative vehicles. I am interested in officer opinions on driving them as well as any maintenance issues, equipment problems and overall experience. Any information would greatly be appreciated.

| GM had put out an unsigned letter dated August 5, 2008 at the Police Fleet Expo regarding their hybrid technology. GM recommends against the use of Hybrids for normal police patrol duties. Fleet and Commercial Specialty Vehicles 482-A20-B98 100 Renaissance Center Detroit MI 48265
