| We are experiencing a transmission slip at 18 mph that generally happens while turning. Ford has replaced the transmission (12,000) and as of late cleaned out the valve body. The vehicle only has 36,000 miles and Ford can't figure it out. Anyone experiencing the same problem or have any suggestions?

| The only thing I have been experiencing is what I posted in a thread in this sub-forum when the PMI comes on. 36K miles huh? Unfortunately it looks like you are SOL as your warranty ran out.

| Thanks for the insight. I brought the vehicle in and they found the airbox was warped. It appears to be repaired. It's a shame that an average Joe can figure out what is wrong with the vehicle before the dealership does.

| My airbox was cracked and the air filter warped. New airbox and filter made a world of difference for my 06. There was a TSB on this issue in regards to the 2 codes that I got.

| We also had airbox problems on 4 or 5 '06 models.
